Allow camera &
microphone access
Your browser needs permission to use your camera and microphone before you can join your session. Follow the instructions below for your browser or device.
Computers, desktops and laptops
Google Chrome (Windows & Mac)
- When you open the link to the lobby, a popup might show up, Click Allow to grant access to your camera and microphone.
- If you don't see a popup and your camera and/or microphone are not working: click the ... at the top right.
- Select Privacy and security and then Site settings.
- Under "Permissions," select Camera or Microphone.
- Find this website and set it to Allow.
Safari (Mac)
- In the menu bar at the top, click Safari → Settings for this website
- Find Camera and Microphone
- Change both from "Deny" to "Allow"
- Refresh the page and return to your session tab
💡 Alternatively: Safari menu → Preferences → Websites → Camera / Microphone → find this website and select Allow.
Firefox (Windows & Mac)
- Click the camera icon or lock icon 🔒 in the address bar
- Click "Blocked Temporarily" next to Camera or Microphone
- Select "Allow"
- Refresh the page and return to your session tab
💡 You can also go to Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions → Camera / Microphone → Remove the block for this website.
Microsoft Edge (Windows)
- Click the lock icon 🔒 in the address bar
- Click "Permissions for this site"
- Set Camera and Microphone to "Allow"
- Refresh the page and return to your session tab
Smartphones and tablets
iPhone or iPad
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Go to Apps → find your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
- Chrome: Toggle ON Camera and Microphone. Safari: Scroll down to Camera and Microphone and tap Allow for both.
- Go back to your browser, you might need to refresh the page before the changes take place.
Android phone or tablet
- Open your phone's Settings
- Go to Apps → find your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
- Tap Permissions
- Enable Camera and Microphone
- Return to your browser and refresh the page
💡 In Chrome on Android: tap the three dots menu → Settings → Site settings → Camera / Microphone → find this website and allow it.
Still not working?
If you've followed all the steps and your camera or microphone still doesn't work, try opening the session link in a different browser. Google Chrome works best for video calls. If the issue persists, please contact your host directly. Check in the right bottom of this screen if the Chat is open.
