Allow camera &
microphone access
Your browser needs permission to use your camera and microphone before you can join your session. Follow the instructions below for your browser or device.
Desktop browsers
Google Chrome (Windows & Mac)
- Look for a camera icon in the address bar at the top right of your browser
- Click it and select "Always allow" for both camera and microphone
- If you don't see the icon: click the lock icon 🔒 next to the website address
- Find Camera and Microphone and change both to "Allow"
- Refresh the page and return to your session tab
💡 You can also go to Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Site Settings → Camera / Microphone → find this website and set it to Allow.
Safari (Mac)
- In the menu bar at the top, click Safari → Settings for this website
- Find Camera and Microphone
- Change both from "Deny" to "Allow"
- Refresh the page and return to your session tab
💡 Alternatively: Safari menu → Preferences → Websites → Camera / Microphone → find this website and select Allow.
Firefox (Windows & Mac)
- Click the camera icon or lock icon 🔒 in the address bar
- Click "Blocked Temporarily" next to Camera or Microphone
- Select "Allow"
- Refresh the page and return to your session tab
💡 You can also go to Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions → Camera / Microphone → Remove the block for this website.
Microsoft Edge (Windows)
- Click the lock icon 🔒 in the address bar
- Click "Permissions for this site"
- Set Camera and Microphone to "Allow"
- Refresh the page and return to your session tab
Mobile devices
iPhone or iPad (Safari)
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Scroll down and tap Safari
- Under "Settings for Websites", tap Camera → set to "Allow"
- Go back and tap Microphone → set to "Allow"
- Return to Safari and refresh the page
💡 If using Chrome on iPhone: go to Settings → Chrome → enable Camera and Microphone.
Android phone or tablet
- Open your phone's Settings
- Go to Apps → find your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
- Tap Permissions
- Enable Camera and Microphone
- Return to your browser and refresh the page
💡 In Chrome on Android: tap the three dots menu → Settings → Site settings → Camera / Microphone → find this website and allow it.
Still not working?
If you've followed all the steps and your camera or microphone still doesn't work, try opening the session link in a different browser. Google Chrome works best for video calls. If the issue persists, please contact your host directly.
